Tree of Life... Version 5

In numerous mythological, religious, and philosophical traditions around the world, the tree of life serves as a key archetype. The idea of the sacred tree is strongly tied to it. Other civilizations, including Scandinavian mythology and Altai shamanism, may have adopted the idea of the tree of life when it was first introduced in Central Asia.

The world tree, also known as the cosmic tree, is shown in numerous religions and philosophies as the same tree, as are the tree of life, which connects all forms of creation, and the tree of wisdom, which connects to heaven and the underworld.
